Mean Street: A Tribute to Van Halen
Live at the Wildey Theatre on July 13th, 2013
While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the concert production of Mean Street: A Tribute to Van Halen.
Mean Street brings a high-energy, marathon of a show that pays homage to the early years of Van Halen from the opening bass guitar pulse of “Runnin’ With the Devil” to the synthesizer sheen of 1984’s “Jump.” But Mean Street’s true appeal lies in the fact that the band is all about the music and leaves sticky inner-band politics and drama to the real VH.
