Motor City Brass Quintet

While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the concert production of Motor City Brass Quintet.

The Motor City Brass Quintet features some of Detroit’s most creative and versatile brass musicians, including members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra, making the MCBQ an exciting addition to the diverse musical culture of Metropolitan Detroit. The MCBQ’s debut CD, Christmas Vespers, features the premiere complete recording of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Harbison’s Christmas Vespers, as well as new arrangements of familiar Christmas and holiday music. This holiday show is a treat for all.
