Sweethearts of the Rodeo

While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the production of Sweetheart of the Rodeo.

The acclaimed sister duo Sweethearts of the Rodeo have been talking about doing a reunion record for years, but Life always seemed to get in the way.“Life starts to get your attention, and I think we got completely distracted with that,” explains Janis Oliver.

Peter Gros

While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the production of Peter Gros, Animal Expert.

Peter Gros has nearly 30 years of field experience with captive wildlife. As a licensed Exhibition & Animal Educator for the U.S.D.A. he has been seen on television talk shows such as Live with Regis and Kelly, The CBS Early Show, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno teaching audiences about many of the amazing animals that exist in the world. He is also an active member of the American Zoo and Aquariums Association and Zoological Association of America.

Honey and The 45s

While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the concert production of Honey & The 45’s.Sultry Chicago-bluesy meets hard-hitting harmonic invasion. Honey & the 45s, a Chicago-based five-piece band, tosses it up in the air and what lands is an eclectic collection of soulful surprises. New sounds, provocative lyrics, can’t-stop-listening tunes, Honey combines elements of folk, blues, jazz, funk, and soul. With powerful vocals, pocket grooves and a sometimes playful, sometimes rockin’, sometimes somber sound, Honey & the 45s will leave you swooning for more.

Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks

While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the concert production of Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks.Dan Hicks is widely acknowledged as one of the defining figures in American roots music. Spectrum Brass

While serving as a the Theatre Manager at the Wildey Theatre, Bedell arranged and oversaw the concert production of Spectrum Brass.Imagine a performance where a brass quintet commands the stage with power and grace, a concert pianist displays dazzling virtuosity, and a soprano sweetly sings a heartfelt song. The Spectrum Brass Quintet delivers it all in one mind-blowing package. With a first half suited for a symphony hall and a second half perfect for a night on the town, who could ask for anything more? This one of a kind was a hit for all ages at The Wildey Theatre.

Enjoy your Motown Favorites performed by talented singers. Catered hors d’oeuvres were provided by the Edwardsville Parks to make this truly a unique affair.

The musical comedy featuring classically trained veteran artists from Broadway and world opera stages is like Greater Tuna meets Das Barbecu – down home laughs with big city music! Written by opera-veteran Matthew Lord with music arranged by Craig Bohmler, 3 Redneck Tenors features a cast of veteran opera and Broadway stars including Blake Davidson, Alex Bumpas, Matthew Lord and Dinny McGuire.Our story starts in a far away land called Paris, that’s right Paris, Texas. Not so very long ago there was these three young, slim, good lookin’ fine song bird-like singin’ boys named Billy Bob, Billy Joe and Billy Billee. Okay, maybe not so young, slim and good lookin’ but, whoa doggy, can they sing!
